This privacy policy explains how PraktickAI (SkyVisual s.r.o., ID: 06219501, registered address: U Vodáka 2578, Budějovické Předměstí, 397 01 Písek, Czech Republic) collects, uses, and protects your personal data in accordance with the GDPR.
Data we collect
We collect the following personal data: (a) Contact form — your name, email address, and message content. (b) Social login (Google, LinkedIn) — your name, email address, and profile picture as provided by the identity provider. (c) Payments — payment details are processed directly by Stripe; we only store the transaction ID, purchased product, and payment status. (d) Course progress — information about visited and completed lessons. (e) Newsletter — your email address. (f) Referral program — a referral code stored in a cookie (30 days).
How we use your data
We use your data for the following purposes: responding to your inquiries, providing purchased courses and tracking your progress, processing payments, sending newsletters (if you have subscribed), and managing the referral program.
Legal basis for processing
We process data based on: (a) Contract performance (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)) — registration, course access, payment processing. (b) Legitimate interest (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)) — analytics, security, fraud prevention. (c) Consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)) — newsletter, referral cookies. You may withdraw consent at any time.
Data retention
Contact form submissions are retained for up to 1 year. Account and enrollment data is retained for the duration of your account. Payment records are retained for the legally required period (10 years). Newsletter data is retained until you unsubscribe. Referral cookies are automatically deleted after 30 days.
Cookies and tracking
This site uses only essential cookies for basic functionality (theme preference, authentication tokens) and referral cookies (30 days). We use Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights for anonymous usage statistics — these tools are cookie-less and do not collect personal data. Course progress is stored in your browser's localStorage and synced to our server for authenticated users.
Third-party processors
Your data may be processed by the following providers: Stripe (payment processing, USA/EU), Vercel (hosting and analytics, USA), Google (OAuth login, USA), LinkedIn (OAuth login, USA), Resend (email delivery, USA), Cal.com (booking widget, EU). These providers process data only to the extent necessary to provide their services.
Data transfers outside the EU
Some of our processors (Vercel, Google, Stripe, Resend) may process data in the USA. Transfers are safeguarded by Standard Contractual Clauses (SCC) or an adequacy decision (EU-US Data Privacy Framework).
Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to: access your data, rectify inaccurate data, erasure (right to be forgotten), restrict processing, data portability, and object to processing.
